Penny is the youngest of 4 kids in her blended family and is convinced this represents some sort of conspiracy against her free will and autonomy. The reality is that her father lets her get away with murder because she’s still his baby and can do no wrong in his eyes, much to Tiffany’s annoyance.

 

Penny’s personality and tastes are very similar to Ryan. Depending on who you ask, this is either endearing or a troubling sign of the apocalypse. She is a very social little girl, who loves spending time with her friends and (like most kids her age) loves YouTube and Roblox. She is doing well in the 5th grade, although she regards Math with some disdain (another trait she shares with her father).

 

One area in which she differs significantly from Ryan is her natural artistic ability. She fills up notebooks with doodles, sketches and various other artistic flourishes. It’s far too early for her to consider any sort of career path, but the smart money is on either graphic designer or angry shut-in. 

 

Penny freaking loves cats, and when we recently added two kittens to our family she lavished more love and attention on them than we realized she was capable of. So maybe add cat lady to the potential list of career options.
