About Me
My parents were living in Elk Point, South Dakota when I was born in Sioux City, Iowa on January 2, 1946. We lived in Ainsworth and Grand Island before moving to North Platte in 1953. After graduating from NPHS, I attended Carleton College for a year, then transferred to UNL, where I received a BA in Psychology and Sociology. I also met and married my husband, Peter Scott. (For you football fans, our best man was Frank Solich.) We moved to Massachusetts, where I worked as an Employment Counselor for the Commonwealth of Mass. In 1971, our daughter, Lorin, was born. I began a Masters program at Northeastern University and received a degree in Counseling and Guidance. Once Lorin was in school, I worked as a substitute teacher until 1985, when my career as a social worker for the Commonwealth began. I was also divorced that year. I was happily single and enjoyed traveling in the US, as well as to Europe, Africa and Asia. Lorin and her family (two daughters, Erin, age 19, attending College of Charleston and Megan, age 16, junior and three step-children, Ava, age 19, attending Emanuel College, Cole, age 17, senior, and Quinn, age 14, freshman) live in Canton MA.
In 2008 I reconnected with Bob Reese. Life is short…I retired and moved to New Orleans to be with him in 2011…Hooray! Since I’m an only child, I enjoy being a member of the Reese clan! Bob and I now live in Fort Worth, Texas. We enjoy traveling…Paris is our favorite!
