About Me

I was born in Denver, but after a brief stint in the snowy mountains, my parents, Mark and Debbie, decided it was time to trade in their snow shovels for air conditioning and moved to Houston.  After navigating the wild world of Cy-Fair High School, where I graduated in 2007 (probably with a diploma and a collection of questionable hairstyles), I headed off to the University of Nebraska, where I graduated in 2011 - still trying to figure out how to put on his cap and gown without tripping.

I jumped straight into the oil and gas industry, breaking into the field like a kid at a candy store - if the candy store was filled with rigs and heavy machinery.  Twelve years later, I am now running the technology group supporting drilling rigs across North America.  Who knew that oil could be so high-tech?

Married to the amazing Lynsie, I am the proud dad of two energetic boys, Nash and Van.  Family time is my favorite time - whether we are racing monster trucks, engaging in floor hockey beatles, or embarking on the legendary Saturday doughnut and car wash adventures before the Husker game.  It’s like a weekly episode of “The Amazing Race,” but with more sprinkles and soap suds.

When not busy with this crew, I try to squeeze in some golf, but with two little ones, it’s more of a “putt and run” than a leisurely round.

Growing up in a lively family taught me a few important lessons:  first, you need thick skin - because if you can’t handle a little teasing, you’re going to be in trouble!  Second, don’t take life too seriously; after all, if you take things too seriously what the hell are you doing all this for?  And most importantly, always have your quick wit ready to go, because in the Reese household, a good comeback is the ultimate survival skill.
